CHYK Meeting 2024

We have called our Balavihar children who moved to the Yuva Kendra age group ( 14 to 28 years ) for a meeting at Chinmaya Upasana today to discuss initiating CHYK classes in Hosur. Swami Shashvatanandaji shared his thoughts on chyk classes and how it empowers youth to face challenges of life positively to lead a successful and happy life. Swamiji also motivated them to take up a 10 day challenge to do Surya Namaskar daily in view of Yoga day.

It has been uniformly agreed that CHYKs ( Jr + Sr ) will meet every Sunday between 10 to 11 am and discuss chosen texts , movies, etc. Around 10 CHYKs attended the introductory meeting. Parents of few CHYK children actively participated in group discussion where Importance and need of CHYK class was discussed . One of the parent who was a CHYK before shared that CHYK class gave him the confidence to use all the opportunity around him and also he learnt the leadership skills from the same..
Parents took a pledge that they will send their children regularly to CHYK classes.
